This is an oak cut string staircase.
The larger size sections on this
cut string stair give it greater prominence in a large reception lounge.
This large area is able to carry the cut string stair and the gallery
balustrade to three sides, at first floor level.
The short return onto a quarter
landing provides the opportunity to display the newels to greater
effect.
The newels are 140 mm ( f ).
The spindles are 63 mm ( f ).
The handrail is 120 x 95 mm ( f ).
